I subscribed and still see the preview

A subscription belongs to your bare account rather than to the phone, so check you are signed in as the account you subscribed with, on the account page. If you are, tap Restore a purchase on that same page.

cancelling

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled in Apple’s settings rather than in bare: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. We cannot cancel it for you and we cannot see your payment details at any point.

Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not end the time you have already paid for, and bare keeps working until that period runs out.

refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The decision is theirs and we are not able to make it or overturn it. If a refund goes through, access ends when Apple tells us.

is any of this medical advice

No. bare describes what is visible in a photo and recommends cosmetic products. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and it will tell you to see a dermatologist when something is beyond what a photo can assess. If something on your skin is painful, changing, bleeding, or does not go away, please see a doctor.
